Description
The Sykes-Pickavant Strut Controller (08487500) allows control over the strip down and re-assembly of shock absorbers fitted with internal rebound stop springs. The rebound spring presents an issue for the workshop – as it will act to pull the piston rod back into the strut once the securing nut is released. The Strut Controller is able to secure the piston rod, allowing it to be serviced easily. A universal clamp is supplied in the kit with non marking nylon jaws which clamp over the piston rod and stop it from being drawn back into the strut.
